Is this Invicta 13026 with ETA 7750 movement rare? It’s marked limited edition 02/50. Does that mean only 50 pieces were made of this series? Seems like it has also been made in a limited edition series without numbering.

Yes it's rare, if you're going strictly by the dictionary's definition of the term. But that doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Invicta uses the "Limited Edition" tactic as a VERY effective marketing tool. You see how effective it is by how it piques your interest, and then later on, you discover that there are two versions of the same damn watch.
That doesn't sound very limited to me! I shall be most surprised if there isn't another edition of this watch by the end of summer.
And don't be fooled by the ridiculous MSRP. In WatchTime Magazine, Mr. Lalo openly admitted in an interview that he deliberately placed excessively high MSRPs on his watches so that his vendors could go ahead if they wished and post ''amazing discounts'' for their consumers to drool over.
