Could any one give me some information on this Invicta collector box. I'm new to collecting and just acquired this box. I was wondering when it came out and where, and was it for any special reason? Having trouble posting the pic so here is a description: 12 compartment, ivory felt lined with the Invicta logo in gold inside the lid. out side is brown leather wrapping over the top and down the back to the bottom. It has a large Invicta wings logo with the words "collector Box" embroidered on top. The sides and front are lite colored wood, and has a small gold locking hasp in front. Any info would be nice. Thanks

Stealhead61, Welcome to the WTF!!!!!

These were available in 2007 & 2008, maybe even later.
Today they can be had for around $50.
Less if no key.
These are very nice, for the top of a good dresser, or bureau.

Hey Tim thanks for the information. yeah I think it looks great on the dresser so much better than the plastic boxes. looks like I probably paid too much for it but that's okay I really enjoy it.
Due to the company's reputation, and antics, anything "INVICTA", takes a hit.
If it didn't say Invicta, that box would be $125.+ all day long.

While some, will say the street cred, of Invicta is tarnished,....
It's the complete opposite for me, I enjoy that fact, and take full advantage exploiting it!!!!!

That lets my money go allot farther. :thumbup1:

So how about some pictures of what that 12 slot, will be holding for you?
Invicta's & non-Invicta's, are welcomed, we enjoy them all!

Tim

no, I have a bunch of friends all over the USA that have sent me watches over the past year or so. 1 friend sent me 40 watches alone from his personal collection including a Seiko 5, an old Ellis, an Imperial a Gruen and a couple old timex and Elgins among others. Only about half of my watches are currently running and are not in need of service. The rest need adjusting, cleaning and oiling, or overhauls.
