hi, first off im new to the forum so hello :thumbup1: now basically ive just bought a 1090 looking for some more detailed info on the movement its currently being posted but i have heard various good/bad stories around invicta watches so im getting slightly worried now! just wondering what movement is in the watch and if it did break could i replace that movement with a more reliable one? as far as im aware they are chinese movement? any help is appreciated!

Welcome to the forum!!! You are correct the movement is made in China. It's the Seagull 3600K. I'm sure it could be had from various online sources for relatively cheap money but it still might be easier to just to buy a new watch if something goes wrong with the one you have.

Thank you for your response, do you know how reliable the movement is? And am I likely to have issues with it? I notice the movements are cheap enough to buy so I had planned on keep throwing new ones in it if I had issues?

I haven't heard any complaints in regards to the movement function or durability. The only thing I can remember is one person had an issue with the placement of the hands but that would be apparent right away. I had one for a couple years and it worked like a charm. No complaints here. It sounds like your cool with swapping the movement If you run into a problem and your willing to swap movements then you should be in good shape.
