You have set your standards pretty high and that beauty sure meets them and that bracelet is the real kicker. I can't tell if it has the rare lumed second hand.
Considering the quality of your Accutrons, do you wear them ?

Thanks for the compliment, the credit for the quality and appearance of the watch belongs to Bob Piker. He produces some simply amazing results with his restorations. This Astronaut does not have the lumed second hand. I had only one Astronaut with this feature and it was moved on to a new owner. Yes, I do wear them in some rough rotation schedule. But what I find is the "new guy(s)" get all the attention for a period of time. Right now it's the Alpha, this latest Astronaut and a 214 Dr.'s Pulsation that is getting all the wrist time.

The Astronaut with the lumed second hand and the JB CHampion 'Bullet' braccelet.:001_tt1:

I could hardly believe my eyes. At first, I thought I was looking at a twin to my M4 Astronaut but then noticed that your M4 has the tapered hands as seen in photos of the watches worn by some of the original Mercury 7 Astronauts. Gordon Cooper, in particular, was photographed for a 1973 magazine cover with an identical watch prominently displayed. If serial numbers mean anything, your Astronaut M4 preceded the one that I have, with straight arrow tipped hands, by approximately 4200 units.

:biggrin:Looks as if a couple of Tigers have a similar taste in Astronauts...
