What I wish is that Omega would have used an applied logo if not legend for the Speedy Pro as well. Guess it's just one of those things.

There's an America's Cup version as well as you know Pete which occasionally does the rounds in the various sales corners

Can't wait for BaselWorld 08 which I think you said was when the Co-Axial would be released. Presumably that would be in cal2500C guise as opposed to Cal 8500.......

Yes I reckon it will be unveiled at Basel 08 although probably not available until later in the year:sad:

The Americas cup is not as nice IMHO as it doesn't have the applied markers and has too much "LE" stuff all over it, I don't go for all that as I'm very conservative in my tastes.

I do prefer the "Bond" bracelet though! Be sweet if the new SMP had that or had it as an option at least:thumbup1:

You have a point Pete.

The LE inscription on the side of the case is a bit much for me too. That said other haute horologie manufacturers embellish the sides of their cases with the name as well. BlancpaiN for instance.

The dial of the AC chronometer is pretty neat though with just the AC Legend. There isn't even any mention of Seamaster.


Tell you what - if you're given it, you can pass it on to me if you like :laugh::laugh::laugh:


Agree with you on the Bond bracelet.
