Our resident Military Watch Guru Stan has truly been a one man
wrecking machine when it comes to sparking the interest in classic military
timepieces... his creations are just eye-popping and I have been lucky
enough to have some in my collection...
I really never got into the military aspect of Illinois, but have slowly added
some pieces along the way as I talk with Stan, and Fred too.
When I come across an engraved version in Original condition, with
military provenance...
My Heart really pounds and I grab it.
This little badboy showed up today:
YGF Cushion with Military engraving on the caseback
Capt. A.W. Mierow
From Co. "L" 550th N.L.T.
5-16-18
Full Damaskeening on the movement
and an original patina "Sparkle" dial.
Will see what info I can find later.
