Picked up a few interesting Bulova's last night at my local auction house.
It was pretty exciting. Set my price limit and even managed to keep to it.
Picked up 2 x 218's
1 x 214 clock
A sea king
And a very nice 23 J selfwinding.
Now to identify them correctly.

I REALLY want one of those Accutron bands with the symbol all over the links. They come up occasionally on ebay.

Nice score! I have the white gold version (black dial) of your Bulova auto with lightning bolt lugs and sunburst dial. All are nice additions to your collection.

You did well ! We need an auction house like that around here. As much as I love Accutrons, I really like the dial in that 23j.

I think I will end up keeping just the 23j.
Wearing it today, very nice.
Unfortunately the clock does not hum
I could not check it at the auction (did not have the correct battery).
Something else to send to Bulgaria unless someone has a recommendation for a US based service Center.

I send my 214's to Bob Piker and have always been pleased with the result, he has my latest 14k one right now.

Nice score Magnetchief. Very nice additions, and that clock is quite a catch also. Don't see that often.
