Of the cases the number carries: T0945948
The work carries the number: LXW, 5703335
Can somebody say what to the production year and the model row?
Thanks!

The serial number puts it at 1937. The LXW is the import code for Longines - they send movements to the US to be installed into American made cases to save on import taxes (hence the "Wadsworth" on the inside of the caseback). The dial has been refinished at some point.

Tip by the clock?

On the Internet I found the following advert of Longines with the clock in request by me from the year 1939. A lucky find. Model name: Official
From the picture it is consistent with my clock.
Is the work number 5703225 really from 1937?
Does somebody know catalogs from the time or does have which with picture of this clock? Could somebody send me a copy then? 1939-longines-watches.jpg
Thanks at all
