:):) the same Speedy type bracelet on both of my Seamasters.

the only difference seeming to be the "great white" bracelet is ALL brushed and the 2254.50 has little shiny spacers between the links..

for utility sake I had thought of "brushing" the shiny bits so it would be easier to keep maintained, what do you think, bad idea... good idea?

thanks for your input:thumbup1:

now let er rip:thumbup:

Hmm.....I kind of like the 2254 bracelet, it gives the watch a classic look IMO.

But if you like it Terry, go for it my friend..:thumbup1::thumbup1:

Any watchmaker could pollish it again if you don't like it afterall...;)

I think I see what you mean..

I wold probably leave it until I got to the point where some maintenance needed to be done.. Then I might hit the whole bracelet with a ScotchBrite along the grain..

They are both good looks..

Here is my Speedy and SMP with the shiny bit I think you are talking about:

And a Great White with the full satinized bracelet:

I think they each have their place Amigo

The brushed/satin finish goes well with the Grosse' Blanc :biggrin::biggrin: since the watch has a brushed finish.

However and this is only by 2c ( or should that be 2.5c ), the 2255.80 Electric Bloo with its' brighter appearance works well with the non-Bond Seamaster bracelet. Without looking, I think te 2254.50 works well with either.

Be well Pal

Either way, what you like is all that matters. If you choose to brush the links,I would use 320 grid sanding, the brand that has the foam on one side. That makes it easier to brush on small areas and it can be done quickly, without the worry of deep uneven brush marks.Start with that method, you can always go with a more coarse grid, but the scotch scrub pad,I find to be too abrasive.
