Ok I finally got my 4469. I love everything about it. I love the black MOP and I am glad it came with it instead of just black. Love the bracelet and clasp. It looks so good in person. I will take some pictures next week since my camera is being repaired. However, I do have 2 questions.

1) It's bran new with plastic all around but I did not get an inspection paper with it. I ordered an Invicta watch about a month ago and I received an inspection with it. Do they inspect some and not others before they send them out? Or am I missing it for some reason?

2) This is my first Swiss auto and I noticed something. First thing I did was manually wind the watch about 40 times. Now if I shake it from left to right and look at the movement as I do that from behind, it doesn't rotate as much. I am comparing this to a Japanese movement I had on a previous Invicta where it rotated a lot when I shake it. Is it not rotating a lot because I fully winded it, or is it because its so bran new and I am being too careful not to mess with it a lot?

Thanks guys, I appreciate all feedback.

You didn't just receive a carton of eggs...lol. Play with it, it's not going to break!! Yes when the watch is wound the rotor will stiffen up a bit and will not move freely. It does not rotate like a Miyota movement.

That was discuss in another thread.
It is normal when fully wound that the balance doesn't move freely.
My 4620 have the sw200 movement in it and do the same thing .
You will see when your watch will be out of power, the balance will move freely.

I own 3 invicta actually : 2 swiss quartz (9309 & 9310) and a swiss made automatic (4620).
I've got all them brand new in the cheezy box. I've never seen an inspection notice with them. So i guess that usually, there is no paper like that in the box.

I think the inspection card comes only with the new 2008 models.
That would make sense. However let me ask you this, my other model which is similar to yours is the 3889. Is that an 08 model? On the inspection paper that came with it, it was dated july 07.

I guess a better question is did everyone else who bought the 4469 also not get the inspection paper?

As far as I know, bidirectional rotors don't move as freely as unidirectional ones.

Ok I got to the bottom of the inspection certificate that I did not receive with the watch. I received it with a previous watch I had purchased but not this. Also other members have stated they have never seen it with any of the watches they have ever purchased. Well I called Invicta and spoke to a rep there. He explained to me that not all of them come with it. All the watches are inspected but a few here and there (about every 100 or so) get the inspection certificate.

I did not get a checklist on this watch.
