my wife has a midsize hydrocarbon with steel bracelet. we have taken it to the ball service center here in manila several times because of a few loose screws on the bracelet links. anyone here getting similar problems?

Hello Joachim,

This is the first time I hear of it. I dont think it is a major problem as locktite can be applied to secure it. Ball should be able to solve this problem quickly. Is the watch new?
yes sir, new from AD here in manila. got it last december as a christmas gift for the wife. took it back about 3 times for the same problem.

i think i'll try locktite.

Before you use locktite, just tighten all the screws and use a dab of clear nailpolish on the heads to hold them in place. It makes the screws easier to remove.
I've used this on my watches - after learning the hardway

thanks! this is truly helpful.

unfortunately, it was too late when i saw this post and i have used loctite. i should leave the problem of loosening the screws to the service center when needed :001_smile:
