We are entering the magic time of the year for me. I have two more weeks of work and then some time off to dream of new watch acquisitions for the coming year. With Hanukkah just days away and Christmas and Kwanzaa only several weeks away, what watches are in your sites for 2008?

For me, although my last two watches have been non-Invictas, I would still like to add an S1 Chrono to my collection if I can get a good deal. Seeing what a great watch the S1 automatic is has whetted my appetite. And for 2008, I am still interested in diversifying my collection. How about you?

I've been intrigued by the Divers I've seen here. I was completely unaware of them before joing WTF.

I might opt to get one of those sometime next year...

I have the reserve speedway in mind and the black ss 3oo series pro diver.

While I am sure I will pick up a couple more slices of our favorite cheese I keep hearing voices that are saying, Seiko perpetual calendar,:tongue_smilie:

:thumbup::thumbup:I would really like to add an Omega [Planet Ocean chronograph or Seamaster chronograph]and a Breitling Auto chronograph to the collection.Every time I think I can there goes Mr Swiss Cheese with another Reserve thats beautiful.:thumbup1::thumbup1:

i had put in a lot of overtime this past week so i ordered a non invicta one i had my eye on..its going to take almost a month from the time i ordered it ,lol...

With a 4469 Pro Diver on the way that will be it for this year if I like it. Next year I want to try some different brands from some of the WTF sponsers. I have my eye on the Thunderbirds watches as well as Zodiac, Bernhardt and Philip.:blink: I may also sell a couple of my Invictas. Would also like to add something with a ETA automatic movement before prices get out of hand.

I am waiting on the release of the ALL CERAMIC Pro DIVER!:w00t:

JIM when is it FINALLY coming out?!? It was suppose to come out at the end of this year but doesnt seem like it will since I havent heard even a peep from JIM or EYAL...:cursing:

I am also looking forward to adding a RESERVE COSC Pro DIVER in the near future if the price and gemstones are right..

Also, I want to get the new and redesigned RENATO BEAST that is due for next year. Cant wait...:thumbup:

Here's where it gets difficult. Possibly being the only member of this board who doesn't own a pro-diver (I opted for the 3294, instead) I wouldn't mind the titanium model (4790). However, for a few dollars more I could get the Swiss movement in stainless steel (9437).

Any opinions regarding titanium vs. steel out there? Miyota vs. ETA?
