Has anyone seen these watches online. Good looking and titanium body! Lighter than normal dive watches. Seiko movement's. Most reviews are great. They say very good quality. What do you all think?

Chinese built "Heimdallr" watches seem to have a couple of issues. Yes they now use the N35A / N36A Seiko movement most of the time and the case is lightweight titanium but why do they use a SS watch bracelet? There have also been some reported issues with the rotating bezels failing. I noted lots of complaints about this vendor on Reddit and other sites.

I wasn't suggesting that all Chinese built watches are poor quality ( I have a couple of Sea-Gulls myself) but this 'brand' seems to have garnered a number of polarizing reviews. Their business model seems to suggest that they buy parts wherever they can at the best possible price and then put watches together for sale to the public. There is some question about whether or not they are 'Swiss built' as suggested in their advertising. Customer service & spare parts (ie bezels) seem to be an issue in most of the negative comments. I also noticed that they seemed to 'disappear' about 3-4 yrs ago and have now returned with new lines of products including fancy 'metal dice' etc. Possibly they were addressing some of those issues...

Overall they get good reviews. I know that Amazon sells them and I just read on amazon that the new versions of the Heindallr watches are now improved. I read that on another source also. I have Seiko dive watches but it would be fun to have something different.

I almost sprung for one of the vintage style, NH powered, titanium Aliexpress watches a couple months ago.
I decided to hold out till I could do some vintage hunting.

One thing to note: the TMI/"seiko" movements are not all Japan made. They are from the same parent company, but most are made in China and maybe Malaysia? That's why they are on Aliexpress for $39.
I have nothing against China, but Japan quality is VERY different from China & SE Asia. It isn't a technology issue, it is a cultural one.
