Wouldn't that be a question to ask the specific airline you are flying? I am sure Japan also has a site that shows (all) restrictions and rules when entering the country. That's homework you should be doing that we can't answer with any authority.

The U.S. Office of Congressional Affairs gets kinda miffed when we play at being customs agents. And VerticalScope won't even let us walk around the halls with those
