Pushing the top button once turns on the chronograph. When you're done timing whatever it is you're timing, push the button a second time to either pause or turn the chrono function off. The bottom button is used to reset all the dials back to the zero position.

Make sure the chronograph is turned OFF when you are not using it. You will not harm the watch, but you WILL prematurely deplete the power in the battery

The top dial is used to count off the elapsed chronograph HOURS.
The bottom dial counts the elapsed chronograph MINUTES.
The RED hand in the center of the dial counts elapsed chronograph SECONDS

In normal time-telling mode, the bottom dial is designed to be used as the watch's regular second hand.
