I have a Hamilton 736 with a one piece case, and it has a broken split stem. I need both parts of the stem, but I do not know the part number/the size. I have found listings on eBay for Hamilton 8/0 size stems, but I do not know if that is what I need. Also I need a new crystal, so I would like to know the part number of that too.

As a last thing, it will run for an hour then stop. It can be started again by advancing the hands forward a small amount with a screwdriver

The watch movement needs a clean and overhaul. Let your watch repair guy source the stem / crown and the crystal while he is doing the C&O.
