Hi All,

I'm looking to buy a mens watch - either new or vintage.

The main requirement is that the strap sits behind the watch face (see linked image for an example). The watch would preferably have a white face and black leather strap, I'm flexible on this though.

Does anyone know where I should look?

Really appreciate your assistance,

Natalie

Since you mentioned vintage as a possibility....
There were some watches from the world war II era that were lugless (such as Lord Elgin and Hamilton) but are rather small by today's standards.
A little later in time, as well as larger in size, you could explore Mido, Wittnauer, Geneve, and Benrus. That style really came into its own in the late 60s well into the 70s. Just about EVERYBODY had models available, from the humble Timex all the way through to the lofty likes of Audemars-Piguet.
You can start your search at
Vintage Watches & Antique Jewelry from E-Watch Show by Old World Jewelers or
» Trebor’s vintage watch collection
but even eBay will net you a trove of results.

Don't focus too much on the strap color when searching. Except for a few instances where a bracelet is integral to the watch case, straps are very easy to swap out and after-market black straps of all materials and price ranges are available.

And whenever you're not sure of something, you can always look to us for help.
