I am completely ignorant in this matter,but having a watch,mens Complication Skeleton ref 39701

and need help to state if is authentic one. Can anyone help me?

Looks fake to me. I am sure a Patek skeleton would be highly decorated, or at least finished better than this appears to be.

Another one for the Hall of Shame. :sad: If I had a dollar for everyone of these PP threads...... well, I'd probably own a PP.

The questions to ask yourself are simple common sense. If you bought it, where did you buy it and for how much? If the answer is suspect, it's fake. If you were given it, was the person who gave it to you in the habit of gifting $40,000 watches and did they have that kind of money / lifestyle? Again, if the answer is no you have a fake.

A watchmaker will usually be able to quickly verify the authenticity of most watches (not a jeweller who changes watch batteries).
