I've been without a watch for years and I'd really like to get a new one. I was nearly settled on the Skagen 233LTMN:

I absolutely love the look of this watch. It's exactly what I want. But I read some pretty negative reviews about its durability. Can anyone share their experience with this watch or possibly recommend a similar watch? Thanks a lot.:001_smile:

I wore a Skagen for some time - different model. Never had an issue with it other than replacing the battery.

My standard response is to check the Sales Forum here. People who frequent a watch forum are likely to have taken good care of their watches, so you can often get a very good deal on an almost-like-new watch.

I bought my girlfriend a skagen and she loves it, I personally don't care for the style, but they are a great watch and look wonderfull, it's just not for me, you see them here and there on the boards, and every blue moon in the sales forum , it's really watch that people generally don't sell.
