Hi all. I'm hoping that someone here can help me identify an old Longines watch. I've looked all over the interwebs and can't find this watch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's a very nice vintage Longines circa 1955. We can do one better than that. Go to this STICKY located at the top of the Longines forum, and follow the instructions in post #3 and when you get your answer, come back and let us know what they say?

Beautiful watch with not Longines in-house movement AS 22 (A.Schild fabrique d'ebauche - movement maker) but precious chronometer certified version regulated for working positions and temperatures. The watch reference should be engraved on the caseback interior. The tag has a hand-written 6424 or 6924 code but, at the moment, i can't find a match online. Congrats, is a splendid specimen.

Longines used to use A.Schild automatic calibers in those years. For example, the 19 AS caliber was used in the "tuffatore", the original inspirer of the modern legend diver. Extract from the original price list of the time.
