I was SHOCKED by the weight of this watch! I promise... if you buy one of these you will not forget that it is on your wrist!

I will post pics later... right now I have a camera taking 1 minute time lapse images of the movement to check the accuracy. I will post the video of that to youtube, and supply a link here.

Just wanted to share the information, and as soon as I can get some good pictures and video finished I will share that as well.

I will get some good high resolution images up as soon as I can. the video is being captured in 720p... it will need to run for several hours. 1 hour of capture only comes out to be 1 minute of video.

Anyway, thank you for the welcome! If there is anything that I can be assistance with just let me know. I have been collecting watches for only about 1 year, but I have been collecting fountain pens for over 10. There are a lot of similarities between the two worlds.

I'm new to Invicta as well, but also as you not new to watches. And I have a ballpoint with a digital time readout, so I see the similarities

Don't know about that... I went from a Seiko titanium automatic to the Invicta Diver. The Seiko was easy to ignore as it didn't weigh much. Every time I move my arm I feel the big Invicta swinging around. Not saying that it is unpleasant. It isn't like having a 15Lb barbell attached to my arm. It is just more noticeable.
