I'm looking at getting a Rob Montana strap, but the buckle I wan't is a custom one and Rob doesn't have the ability to polish it in house, he's just not set up for it. Has anyone ever used a service to have something like this polished? I really want the buckle but if it can't be polished, I'll have to go back to the drawing board. :cursing:

If its gold, stainless steel or even brass, it should be short work for any jeweler. If its plated, you could have a problem.

There are several polishing threads on the forum where guys do it themselves and a buckle would be easy to try it on.

As Steve said, it should be very easy to polish for any jeweler (it doesn't even have to be a watch maker) given that it is a normal base or precious metal that isn't plated or coated.
