Congratulations to anyone who has purchased Rene Rondeau's book, Hamilton Wristwatches - A Collectors Guide..

It is sold out...However you can get one at Amazon for $249.00....!!!!!!:scared:

That may have been a better investment than the watches!

According to an item in this book written by Rene' Rondeau, the Hamilton Watch catalogs were produced in black and white to encourage AD's to purchase the watches for display rather than order them for retail customers out of the catalog.

Geez, $250 for a watch book!!!

I just bought a pre-owned Hamilton Khaki King Scuba that's in great shape for $250.

I think I'd rather have the real watch instead of pictures.

It would be awesome to buy a signed copy of Rene's book directly from Rene. It's a rare opportunity.:cool1:

Sorry Dave; I think the honour is still yours. I received my book from Rene in 2009 - for less than you paid for yours.
For a second there, I thought you got the one in the auction that just ended.

I think Rick was talking about that auction.

I reckon Stales is probably suffering a little from old age....
