I have to admit that I have a warm spot in my heart for this one since I have been waiting patiently for its delivery to my door. Apparently sold out, the vendor expected a factory order to arrive today.

I like the size, 42mm, and the fact that it is water resistent to 100 meters.

It looks great! A timeless classic re-proportioned for modern tastes. At 42mm, that thing is bigger than the Khaki King models.

Yup, I did order the auto version, with an ETA 2824. I have two other watches with that movement and it is smoooooooth.:thumbup1:

I've been wanting the Khaki Mechanical. Funny thing is I can't seem to find a straight answer on it's case size. I've seen 38mm, 40mm, 42mm.

Admittedly, with so many members ordering and receiving new Hamiltons, I am feeling a little lonely. So, I have been calling the vendor to see when my Khaki Field Auto will be delivered. I am on a first name basis with one of the CS reps. . . Well, Hamilton shipped the watch on Jan. 23 and it is due any moment to the vendor. She told me they will ship it to me the day it arrives to them. Oh boy! I can't wait.

Rusty once it arrives you will love it. I will try to see if i cannot find a couple
