I just bought what appears to be a Hamilton Glenn movement and dial off of ebay. It's a 747 movement that was non-running and a nice though slightly discolored dial. Well, I disassembled, cleaned and oiled the movement, and it now runs great. For $3.92, I figure it was a pretty good deal.
The problem is trying to find a Glenn case or some case to handle the square dial with a 8/0 movement. Any ideas that may help?

The most likely reason you were able to buy a Glenn movement is that it's solid 14k case went to the smelter due to the continued high price of gold. Finding a replacement case is unlikely. Assuming you can find a case that needs a movement, you would probably have to pay at least melt value. I hope somebody here can help.
