I ran across this ad for a re-issue Ventura. I am not sure why a connection to Ben Affleck.

Affleck was in Pearl Harbor in 2001 but he wore a Khaki in that movie. And in 2003, he supposedly wore a Linwood Viewmatic when he starred in Daredevil.

It may just be they connected his face with the watch because they hoped his fans and his generation would be interested in the Ventura re-issue.
