Thinking about purchasing a Gruen 21 barclay aka spider. Have not seen a whole lot of info on them. Any suggestions/feedback?

I only know three things about the Barclay.
1. It was the very first Gruen produced entirely in the USA
2. It used the 335-21 movement
3. It is the coolest Gruen I have ever seen! I'd live on ramen noodles for a month in order to be able to score one of these!

Actually, I was thinking of that line in the Allstate auto commercial with Dennis Haysbert. Personally, I'd go with Mac & Cheese. :001_tt2:
