It would be one of these. Not that they are great by any stretch of the imagination. But Hey I feel that I got lucky and am feeling smug about the pics. I doubt that I would be able to get this lucky again.lol

Favorite, of the day.
This is mine, well it is today. That is because I just got it a few days ago and today was the first time I could get some half decent photo's of it. So, for today, this is what I am wearing as my favorite.

Well, I could tell you I brought down the whale with that gun, but that would be quite a fish story.
The gun is an Ethan Allen pepperbox (or an Allen and Thurber or an Allen and Co., it's all the same thing). The pepperbox was an interesting gun with revolving barrels as opposed to revolving chambers. It also had a double-action trigger at a time when Colt still had a single-action trigger. I never fired this gun or any of my antiques. I have fired modern black powder guns though.

Glad you can see them now, FreeDive. I actually checked on a third computer and was able to see the older photos when I visited the site as a guest. It might have something to do with your intenet settings and/or your cookies. Either way, I'll stick with photobucket.
