Can anyone tell me the makers name ?
and what the writing means think it’s German?
Is it rolled gold?
I can’t get the back off

The case back on that pocket watch is likely threaded on. The 'winged wheel' was used by a number of different companies as a trademark (Rotary, American Watch Case Co, Keystone Watch case co. 'Jahre' is 'year' in German but 'parell' i believe is Spanish / Catalan. Seeing the movement will likely identify the watch.

  • ''10 jahre garantie'' - 10-year guarantee
  • I see no jewelry hallmarks, so I don't know if that'gold or not.
  • If you're lucky, the movement may hold a clue who the maker was. Ask someone at a watch repair shop to remove the back of the case for you. (He'll be happier to help if you're honest and tell him why...you can even take your camera with you.
