Finally, number four is this beautiful ~1940 Sentinel, with a butler finished roman numeral dial that is an older quality refinish $140 - this watch features a 17J 987S movement. The case is excellent with minor wear and a couple of tiny dings. Crystal is acrylic and new. Comes presented on a long leather band in brown. The Sentinel is about 29mm wide by 36mm long.

This same guy also had another 1940 Sentinel listed but the face seemed a bit messed up listed on the first page. This listing was found on the third page. I wonder if it's the same watch or another one? Anyways, what does everyone think of this watch for the asking price? Good condition? Frankenwatch? Thanks!

i think you will find that these are being sold by Dan, one of our regular contributors at this forum. He is a valued member of our community and, I believe, well regarded by those who buy his watches. May i suggest you liaise with him via PM - he will be straight with you.
