I am sure this has been discussed, but a search did not turn up anything... I'm wondering if there is something I can use to fix small scratches on a gold-plated watch bezel?

It depends on the type of finish. If it is mirror polished, search the forum for "Cape Cod Cloth". If it is a brushed finish, you'll have to look around a bit more as there are different kinds of brushed finishes. I believe some people have found luck with green scotch-brite pads.

Or use Simichrome metal polish - it may be the best polish in the world. It not only polishes but also leaves a clear, waxlike coating that lasts longer than most polishes, preventing corrosion for a long period.
