Hello all,

I'm long time lurker and only this week I have something that may be interesting for the experts.

I just got this 1680 (white, red requires much more planing and $$$).

It's OK? Notice that I'm not looking for a perfect one.

The lug numbers (model and serial) are strong and fine, the serial number is 601XXXX meaning that this watch was made in 1979. I'm sure that the bracelet is modern.

Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you

A very warm thank you for "Pete17" and Delgado for the good comments.

I will use this 1680 with pride.

Who knows, someday, I will be able to add a red one to my small collection.

Cheers.

My pleasure mate.
The 1680 Submariners, red or white, are my favourite Rolex of all time.
A classic looking watch and tough as nails.

Enjoy!
