Rervan Lubbe, a man who designed products to help people with life-changing diseases, is facing, of all things, fraud allegations. Lubbe, who invented a wristwatch that doubles as a Malaria monitor (pictured), is accused of tampering with his company's balance sheets to hide executive salaries to make it look like the company had more income than it really did.

I understand that is a wristwatch with a 0.5mm needle that pierces the skin and draws out 4 microlitres of blood four times a day to test for malaria parasites and if the parasite count tops 50, an alarm sounds and a brightly-colored picture of a mosquito flashes on the watch face. The wearer must then take three tablets that kill all traces of the disease within 48 hours.:eek::scared:
