Lots of great articles about perpetual calendars in the newest issue of Revolution magazine...But for the price of that magazine I could make a value pay!:scared:

They can usually tell you the month and the years since the last leap year as well, at least with the Seiko perpetual's. I loved the Seiko Dance.... it would change the date to show the month number, then the second hand would move in 5 second intervals. Depending on how many it moved, would tell you how many years since the last leap year! It was a cool thing to watch! But sure was a battery killer!

What amazes me is the IWC with the moonphase (I think it is the Portuguese Calendar). It even automatically adjusts for the moon with no user intervention!
