I am in the process of finding a watch for my daughter. She has fallen in love with a PP watch with a gold bracelet that is sized 6-6.25 inches. The shop says it can be expanded by a goldsmith another .75 inches. Does anyone have any experience with this? Will it look Frankensteined? Thanks!

I was hoping someone could share an experience. I fortunately don’t have any dealings with goldsmiths. The dealer is reputable, but I was hoping to confirm this is a common practice on fixed length bracelets.

I'm not sure exactly what kind of bracelet you are referring to (a photo would help) but depending on the type of bracelet, yes they can be expanded possibly up to 3/4". That expansion might be in the clasp adjustments.
