Hi,

I'm new to this forum and looking for some information. My father in law found and Elgin Ladies Diamond Watch. We had it appraised back in 1999 and it appraised at $7500.00 (triple kestone). We are looking to sale it and wanted to get a little more information about the watch before we make a decision. It has a serial number of 49526. The serial number was on the movement of the watch. It also said Elgin 832 19 jewels. From what we can find online with that serial number is was made around 1868-69. I just wanted to see if that was corrected and approximately what I could expect it to sale for or if we should just keep it and pass it on to the children? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Dona
