Not outside what I see in the showcases. I like some of the looks they have, especialy the prince. But the issue for me is they're just to dang small for my wrist. If they were larger, I'd give them serious considerations.

Very good dial work

with nicely finished markers.

A bit too bling for my taste though.

Hey Vandice,

While most do have too much bling (IMO), they do have a few that are very simple, elegant designs. I'd equate them to an older DeVille type look (not that I'm comparing an Omega to a Rolex...  :eek:hmy: ).. Here's a few that I like...

I really like the simple clean look of this one... Look at the details on those lugs..

And if you want a dash of bling but still simple & clean...

And the square I really like is this one..

And back of it..

Some of them are outright bling. As for the conservatively styled ones, they do draw attention indoors. In dim light conditions, the mirror finish case/markers reflect a lot of light. From the right angles, a rainbow spectra emerges from the angled markers/case.

That's one way to tell a well-made watch from a distance.

Btw, that "tank" is really beautiful. What's the model ref./name?

Even some of the sports are too blingy.... :001_unsure:

Honestly, I haven't seen one anywhere but a brightly lit store. Didn't know that...

It's the Cellini Prince. I think (but don't quote me) the ref # is 5443/9. There is 4 versions of it. This one (in white gold) and another white gold, 1 yellow gold & 1 rose gold model. It is very nice.. Good solid looking case but still very dressy. And the band is very nice. Not wafer thin, but not a huge chrono strap either. If I was going to get a Rolex dress watch, this would probably be the top of my list... :thumbup1:

Thanks Scott for the heads up. That Prince may just be the one Rolex I may consider in the future.

:thumbup1: Yea, I've looked at it a few times too & considered it.. It hasn't been able to push me off the edge yet though.. BTW - they are not that popular, do you can usually wheel a better discount on them if a store has them in stock. From what I've seen, they tend to stay in the case a pretty good amount of time... I've been offered 18% off one if I'd take it... And I wasn't seriously looking at that time...
