Let's take a look at the Debaufre Triton 2000M Dive watch. The Swiss ETA 2824-2 Automatic movement is cased up in a 45mm high pressure 316L surgical-grade stainless steel case, which also incorporates an automatic Helium Release Valve (HRV) on the left side, and a screw down crown. The case thickness is 17.3mm's and the lugs accommodates a 22mm bracelet. It has a brushed/satin finish applied which should make it easy to maintain.

It's pressure tested and approved to 2000M/6561 feet and can be used for saturation diving. The watch is has a nice weight to it, weighing in at 9.4 ounces. The case back is a solid screw down type, and engraved with an image of Triton, the Greek sea god.

The dial is a deep black and has a wavy design inlaid into it. The hour numbers are indicated at the 12,3 & 9 o'clock positions in a high contrast orange. Baton markers as well as the skeleton hands are painted with Super-Luminova. The date window, inspired by portholes, is located at the 6 o'clock position. Debaufre uses a scratch resistant Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating applied. As with most divers, the Triton uses a unidirectional rotating bezel, with a coin edge. The bezel insert keeps the orange theme going with orange timing markers that contrasts well with the black background and is easily read.

The bracelet, also made of brushed 316L stainless steel, uses a solid non tapering 5 link design attaching to the case with 22mm solid end links. The removable links are secured with screws and it can accommodate a wrist size of 6.5 to 9 inches and larger. The deployment clasp is a flip lock style with a divers extension and it has 4 micro adjustable positions.
The Triton would make a great diver or a desk diver for daily use. The ETA movement is tried and true and can be regulated well inside of COSC Standards.
