Hi All - just got a SeaQ Panorama date, really love the watch. I just realized that the big date mechanism is not changing exactly at midnight, it changes about 1 minute before the midnight. I know this is normal for most other brands I am new to Glashutte and this "big date" complication. Could anyone please let me know if this is normal?

If it only changes 1 minute before midnight I wouldn't get too upset over that. I'd be happy if any of mine changed within 1 minute of midnight....

P-f-f-f-f-f-f-t - You wanna try wearing one of my vintage Caravelles? The date starts to change at 5 minutes before-the- hour, and doesn't complete the change-over for roughly another 10 minutes!!! That's just the way the gear train works. If the watch is otherwise accurate, why should I care about the date window?
