1. I like the designs of the new Invictas so far, but some are out of my size and price range.

2. There are two Invictas I want the square Russian Diver (quartz or mechanical) and the flyback Corduba chrono or black MOP pro diver. Nothing else has caught my eye this year.

3. Pre-loved: Scooby, 3824 LE Pro Diver, Subaqua Noma III, and square Skully.
New: Ocean Ghost II automatic with a silver dial with blue marker.

1. I do like the designs, just too darn large and I believe they have went upscale too quickly with out the consumer confidence to follow. Look for falling prices on those.

2. I recently ordered the slim Portofino that should be here Saturday, there are a couple of other 40mm or 43mm pro divers.

3.None yet. Working on changing that.

I think the new watches are pretty dynamic, but if there's one complaint I have, it's that Invicta hasn't done a lot with the $2-300 watches so far this year. I'd love to own a Leviathan if for nothing else other than as a conversation piece, but I'm not paying $1300 for one.

My next Invicta will be either a Sea Vulture mechanical or a square Russian Diver mechanical. After recently canceling an order for a Speedway, I realize that there is also a chance that I will not buy another Invicta this year. There are several brands out there that I'd like to try out, so I may go in another direction for a while. I've said this before and always wind up buying another Invicta, so we will see.

I've purchased one Invicta in 2008, which was the Sapphire Ghost in January. I don't wear it as much as my other watches, but I love breaking it out for special occasions and weekend outings.:cool1:

I've been a little sour lately. Too many SubAqua variations has kind of ticked me off. Not to mention the price-slashings that I have been a victim of on the last two. I may be waiting to see if they can settle in with this upscale move. If prices settle, I may be in the market again in 09'. For this year, I'm good.

Invicta seems to think all cheese lovers want larger watches and I don't.

Prices have gone up (not really Invicta's fault as this is reflected on almost every brand I have looked at) and still nothing out there that is really turning me on.

My newest acquisition is an older and I think discontinued older model.

I am hoping Invicta will offer something this year that is more like a watch to wear (44mm down) rather than a clock on my wrist.

There aren't a lot of Invictas out there that I am currently desiring. I've mentioned that I don't like to have too much duplication in my collection, so the one Lupah is enough for now and between my 3294 and OGII/Piranha I have the diver situation covered. I occasionally look at the square Cordubas. The only upper line that impresses me is the SAN. Some of the other lines are a bit too busy, sometimes with unnecessary features (i.e., diver's bezels on a Speedway). Overall, I might bite for the right price on an auto SAN.

As with most products, I rarely buy anything when it first comes out. You'll pay a premium.
With watches, unless it's an OTV, don't buy it. There will be a price drop eventually. Now you may miss out on some watches if they are true limited editions like the 3824. And occasionally prices don't drop, and even increase, as was the case with my second favorite brand, Oceanaut. After 4 years of drooling over the watches, I was only able to buy 2, before the watches were priced out of my price range.

1. Alright what do you guys think of the new Invicta watches so far this year?

2. What is you next Invicta watch or the one you will be adding sometime this year?

3. What Invictas have you added so far this year?
Honestly, I haven't looked at any of the new ones. I'm a bad cheesehead.

What will I add? Whatever catches my eye, I suppose.

I bought both of my INvictas this year. The first was the Aussie Pro Diver, and the second was the Times Square Automatic...

I think everyone around here knows that this year I added a couple, including the SAN III.
The one model that's caught my eye and that I really want is the Reserve RD Akula. If I get it this year, it will be much later in the year.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMM Akula!!
I love that watch but I will have to enjoy it vicariously through you AO. That one is a little out of my reach right now with 2 daughters in University.

Recently picked up the all black ladies aussie for the wife. As far as the new stuff goes the only one that really grabs me is the Akula. I may pick it up in the fall if the prices drop low enough.

7 out this year.. . . 0 in. The Lalo and me, well, we're heading in opposite directions. The new ones are either to big or pricey or both. I believe I am no longer in the Invicta target market. Too bad. . . but it sure was fun while it lasted.

Of course, if the re-issue Sky King were to happen this year in a 40-42mm case, I'd probably be all over that baby.

A pic from member Kokuryu's collection. . .

1. The new Reserves are unbelievable. At 50+mm, though, they're all out of my size. The Leviathan, in fact, is concerned ONLY with size. The Akula and new Subaqua Reserve are just beautiful - I can promise Invicta a lot more money from my bank if they start making designs like that at the 44ish mm range.
2. The next one - not too sure, I develop crushes on new watches every week. The one that keeps coming up is just a multifunction - 3291 Aviator in white. The bezel looks wild (but WHY does it turn??? No markers!), reminds me of a Breitling. I do have the Sunday Run on the way, but I may not even unwrap it...
3. Heh heh, this has been quite a year so far. All of my Invictas, except the 4848 have come in this calendar year.
