Foghorn, maybe they are trying to capture a younger customer base....I must have scored and be sitting in the dugout....for I am on no base that would be attracted to anything I see so far...........I'm not giving up yet...All I need is one new model to flip out over to restore faith.....Last year it was the X-Wind Rose Gold LE...this year??????? a new Ball (I really like that Night Train)hmy:

The way I see the problem is not that Hamilton does not have good ideas, but they cannot choose one at a time. A square instrument watch can be done nicely, but the numbers outside the main dial are incongruous (I seem to use that word a lot when it comes to the new Hamiltons). The tachymeter and telemeter are nice features, but the subdials interfere. And do we really need Hamilton twice on the face of the watch? Clean the dial up and it's not a bad watch.

Even still, I'm not worrying yet. If they discontinue the Khaki Field line to produce this watch, then I'll worry.

The small second hand has a 10 and a 2 ??? Like what are we supposed to think it's a second timezone clock or something? You can hardly tell the minute from the hour hand as well.....I'm getting cramps...Foghorn...where's the enigma!

Look closer. (Yes, I understand. If you have to look closer, it doesn't work. It should be much clearer.) That is the elapsed hours hand and there is a 4 and an 8 in addtion to the 10 and 2.

Seriously, there cannot be enough of a market out there to justify this garbage we have seen coming out for 2008. Sure some real trendy young folks may buy this stuff, but come on; is Hamilton trying to have a watch for every single market segment?

Different strokes for different folks, I guess, but I am repelled by these models.
