I have been kicking around the idea of purchasing a Grovana or Steinhart or now a Debaufre (which I understand is meant as the US version) and these are 300 meters water resistant, which is excellent. But I just today came across the Charles Hubert brand, which is also a Rolex hommage. Now I see they claim only 30 meters of water resistance, which is a long way from Debaufre at 300 meters, but I wonder if the watches are OK otherwise?

I'd go with Grovana or Debaufre, simply for the fact that several WTFers have or have had them and had good experiences. I haven't run across this other brand. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah never heard of that brand. But also check out the Invicta 4469 or the 9937 if you like the Rolex look.
