There's not much to add to what you see on the dial. It's a quartz Bunrus Citation.

Benrus (a play on the name of one of the owners: BENjamin LazaRUS was a good middle-class American watch company. And Citation was their bread-and-butter line which included mechanicals, electric and eventually quartz watches.

If your dating it to the late 70s to early 80s is correct, there is almost no chance of getting more information on your particular specimen. Benrus went bankrupt in 1977, was bought, and changed ownership quite a few times since then.

Trivia: Benrus made watches for the military during the Vietnam War and was one of the sponsors of the very first TV broadcast of The Wizard of Oz.
