Hi guys, can anyone help me to see what model is this longines watch? it says les grandes classiques de longines at the back panel and nothing else.

You answered your own question. :wink:

It's from the 70's or maybe 80's and probably has a caliber 99x inside. Looks to be in great shape.

THanks mate did not expect it to be so old. Was a gift from my dad. Was hoping for a model number tho! :)

The model number (reference number) will be on the inside of the caseback. Don't be disappointed in that watch - the 990 series was a nice movement.

Thanks for the info. I like the watch a lot. Especially when it's the first expensive thing my dad ever gave me. :) Doubt anyone can buy it now since it's from the 80's.

I like that style of dials they used to make. Hopefully someday a son of mine will look for information about the Longines Master Chronograph I've got
