Im in the market to find a newer-used Omega Seamseter 300 Chronometer, I visited the boutique and saw the price tag of $3800.00, obviously that is significantly more then I would like to pay after watching some eBay auctions to see where they end at. Its a common enough watch that they always have at least a few on ebay but the price tends to range. I saw a blue dial (I prefer black) sell for just over $1000.00 and another of the same model and just about same condition sell for $1800.00.

Does anyone know what a good price on something like this would be? One in good repair with the box and papers.
