I am having trouble getting the stem out to change the time and date on my husband's Bulova Precisionist I bought last year. I don't want to damage the watch. I took it to a jeweler once but don't want to have to do that all the time and I know there must be some great advice out there to help!
Thanks!

Is your model one where the crown screws down for water tightness? If so, you must first unscrew the crown counter-clockwise before being able to pull it out. Hope this helps.

Slam it repeatedly (sort of gently, with restrain) against a wooden object (or whatever is around), swear vilely at it, for ages, throw it around the room, scream at it, then when the anger subsides, cuddle it softly and see what happens. I think they they often become so scared they start working out of fear without a costly service. Win/win!
