BULOVA DEEP SEA CHRONOGRAPH 666ft. " B "
CRYSTAL, BEZEL and BEZEL SPRING

this watch " MUST " use ... Bulova Crystal REF# 825AW ... or correct substitute
for the bezel to be mounted and secured to the watch case ref.# 895 a generic diver crystal will not do ...

The crystal is an armée type and requires the right press and die. Also, the bezel can be damaged if you remove it the wrong way. These have thin wires that either create tension to prevent free-turning, or hold the bezel in place. The wire is easily distorted and not easily fixed.

1973 BULOVA Snorkel 666ft. Day and Date
Case ref# 7095-1

along with the ORANGE dial SNORKEL V [case ref.# 7095] uses a FRICTION MOUNTED BEZEL [no click]
though the case is similar in appearance to the OCEANOGRAPHER SNORKEL " G " [date only] case ref.# 714 the internal dimensions and clearances are different since these use a day and date movement

My current Sept 2021collection minus a few. I doubt you will see me collect anymore as I have semi-retired from Accutron collecting and have moved on to other interests in life. I have contributed a lot to the Tech sticky forums over the years and helped others along the way and learned a lot myself thanks to many old-school guys who rarely visit this forum anymore. It's time to let others dig through countless Accutron tech info, post to the tech stickies, and add to the Accutron hobby. (y);):coffee:

These are all 1960 or 1961. The center Model 559 is a 1963 dated 14kt Gold watch.

Many Accutron collectors seek to replicate the ephemera (inner and other storage boxes, owner's manuals, hang tag/price etc.). Bulova used a variety of storage boxes for various Accutron watches. Most familiar are the later black leatherette and brown plastic units pictured below. The four boxes are early units (1960-62) that featured the marketing slogan 'ACCUTRON MICROSONIC TIMEPIECE' that underscored the revolutionary nature of the Accutron series.
