I just love these emails from Bulgaria.
"Your watches have been repaired and shipped today, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery"

Very impressed with the turnaround time, about 2 weeks. But the shipping takes it's toll. :(
My M4 space view and Accutron Snorkel are on their way back to me. Delayed gratification is a sign of maturity. Unfortunately I'm not very mature :(

I wonder why it takes so long, I have bought a couple of Rolex homages from directly from China that took less than 2 weeks to get here. Maybe, coming from Bulgaria, customs hears them humming and has to check to see if they are bombs ?

I'm not really worried.. The repair of my fathers snorkel was very reasonable. The repair of the spaceview was free. (Just hope it holds up). I have plenty of other accutrons to amuse myself with till then.
Mind you, I hope I can catch the delivery this time. I hate having to slog down to the post office with that yellow form..

He is always very conservative with his shipping estimates. Mine have all got here much quicker than stated. They were not insured but I'm sure he could organise that if explicitly required.

And, yes, the waiting kills you ....

Thanks guys. Just to be cautious with loss, I would suggest you'll take insurance. The post office lost a registered post bracelet I custom ordered a few months ago for 300 bucks, a watch getting lost would be even more painful.

A watch I ordered from China on May 27 arrived on Friday June 7, 11 days.
I worked for insurance companies most of my life and insurance certainly has it's place but my general rule is that, if I can replace something out of my pocket without it affecting my standard of living, I don't insure it.

They arrived! In 10 days too.
Great service. My snorkel looks fantastic with the new crystal.
Running beautifully too.
Same goes for my spaceview.
A little wary if the latter. Hope it runs longer than 3 weeks this time.

Most of my watches from Bulgaria took about 17-23 days on average for me. Compared to a few overseas situations, that is really not that bad. There is a guy that repairs Vintage LED Pulsar modules in Germany and it takes an average of 6 weeks just to get the item to him, then 4 months turn time and about 5 weeks return. So thats a 6+ month wait for one item. On a fast note, I bought a new watch from Singapore a month or so ago. Took 4 days.... It was shipped FedEx express.
