Hi, I am looking to buy off ebay a Walthem AU 10 CAL 750 B17 for $120 although I can probably get him down. However the watch is not working and the sellers says its a broken balance.
I am thinking about buying it and having it repaired. I couldnt do it myself.
I would welcome opinons as to whether this repair is fairly cheap and the part likewise cheap. When fixed it might be worth $200 to $250.00. TIA. jack.

The part isn't expensive but it does require someone who knows what they're doing and has the proper tools. Repairs would cost about $75 - $125 depending on where you went.

Hi mikey_53 many thanks as usual for your help. The seller will drop to $100 so with repairs and postage I could be looking at about $ 200. I am not sure the repaired value would justify that. thanks again jack.
