Hey guys,

John R started this in the General Forum awhile back, and honestly it didn't seem to get alot of interest (which was quite surprising to me :confused1: :confused1: )

But, I thought I'd try again here in the Breitling forum... We got alot of members who take absolute fantastic pictures. However, if any of you have a hi-res monitor, the 800x600 resolution of the pictures just doesn't cut it as a wallpaper shot. So, how about a gallery dedicated to hi-res Breitling pictures?

A few rules for posting a picture in this thread...

1) Only hi resolution pictures. If it doesn't meet the minimum resolution requirement in #2, please post it in the Breitling Gallery Super-Thread.

2) Minimum resolution should be 1024 x 768. Preferable minimum resolution is 1400 x 1050.

3) Maximum resolution should be no higher than 1920 x 1200 (the maximum even a high definition monitor can display).

4) If you submit a picture, it's assumed you are allowing anyone to download for personal, non-commercial use (such as printing for hanging on a wall or using as a wallpaper on their PC).

5) If you download a picture from this thread, you agree you will use the picture for personal, non-commercial use only & will NOT use, post or transmit over any other site, including using it in auctions or posting to other forums without obtaining the permission of the owner. The submitted pictures remain the copyright & intellectual property of the original photographer.

So there it is.. If you've got any hi-res Breitling pictures, let's see them!! :thumbup1: :thumbup1:

Here's a first real quick attempt at trying to post a hi res image. Hence the lack of 10:10 hand setting etc.

These are 1280x1024.

Any feedback is gratefully received as always.

Great pics! One thing you can do to help lighten up the face is to use something white (a piece of printer paper for instance) to reflect light onto the face of the watch. You just have to work at it a little to get it at the right angle. Thankfully digital pics are free so you can screw up as many times as necessary. I know I sure do. :T

Per request... EVO/UTC red, white and blue...

Shot taken on July 1st using Canon Digital Rebel XT (8.5MP) and 18-55mm "kit" lense. Tripod mounted, auto focus and exposure, natural light diffused by white cloth, 10 second delay shutter trip. Editing software is Picasa 2 and sizing software is Irfanview (both freeware). Photobucket automatically downsized the full res pic to 2240 wide resolution (3MB) when uploaded so this was the best I could provide for you using that hosting service. :)
Cheers,
Ron
